Gobble, gobble, gobble...don't be surprised if you see this little turkey again in November!  (This costume was worn by cousin Brendan when he was Juliet's age!  One issue--the zipper at the back of the head did not take into account little girls with long hair!!

Just Plane Fun

How do you keep two kids quiet and happy for a 4 1/2 hour flight?  Food, books, and ipad!

**Milestone Alert** Juliet at 18 Months!

Juliet is 18 Months!! Can you believe it?  She is becoming our little girl, rather than our little baby girl.  We went for her check up today and she is doing really well.  Here are her stats:

Weight:  20 lb 2 oz  (5th percentile)

Height:  30 3/4 inches (25th percentile)

Juliet is hugging her favorite growth curve and staying at that 5th percentile for weight.  She is quite the eater, so the doctor said she must have a great metabolism.  Anyone who has ever tried to eat in front of her can attest to that--better bring enough to share with Juliet!

Even though she's never been to the Blarney Stone, she has quite the gift of gab.  She talks and mimics all day long!  She says everyone's names, hi, bye, ball, I sit, chip, please, thank you, and even started saying "Where are you?" when she can't find me!  I would say she says at least 50 words now, maybe more.  One of the more amusing mimics is when she sees me reprimanding Matty and copies--she'll shake her finger at him and make some stern noises and walk away.  Oh dear.

We are back from our brief blog hiatus--we took a break while we were getting ready for our trip and while we were out in Colorado.  Have no fear, however, since we are back and have lots of great pictures and stories.
