Where it all began....Cornell University.  We took the kiddos up for our 10th year reunion. 

On the engineering quad, we ran into a super cute couple from the class of 1946!  They took a family photo at the sundial:

Time to Accessorize

Juliet loves her new sunglasses.  She tried them out at the beach the other week and they fit great!  The sunglasses help shield her eyes from all those camera flashes :-)  It's tough being so cute!

Milestone Alert: Juliet!!

Milestone Alert for Juliet:  she had her first official smile!  It happened maybe a little over a week ago, but we were too sick to update the blog then. She is now smiling in response to us all the time--definitely one of the most fun developments.  Still have to capture it on camera, so stay tuned. 


Juliet had her 2 month check up yesterday.  She is doing great and growing like crazy!  You can tell she's really starting to get some cute baby fat :-)

2 Month Stats:

Weight:  8 lbs 1 oz (5th %tile)

Length:  21 inches (10th %tile)

To Sleep, Perchance to Dream

Juliet was very comfortable and happily sleeping in GG's arms.  I wonder what she was dreaming about?

She didn't seem to mind all the craziness that her brother and cousins were up to....they look quiet and innocent, but don't let one picture fool you :-)

Loyal blog readers--we are sorry we have been so bad at the updates lately.  It is not due to lack of content.  We have some incredible pictures that we can't wait to post.  It's just been one of those weeks.  Matty and Mommy were benched by extreme illness and now we are all feeling better and trying to get ready for Juliet's christening this weekend!  Stay tuned...

Hitching a Ride

Matty decided to hitch a ride on the front bumper of the baby jogger this weekend.  It worked out great!  We were running around Washington, DC solving the puzzles to the Washington Post Hunt.  Juliet was very comfortable snoozing the day away.  Next time, I think we'll bring our double baby jogger, though. :-)

Juliet Meets the Shore

Juliet had a great first weekend at the shore and was incredibly spoiled by everyone in the family--I don't think she was put down once!  :-)

Memorial Day Weekend!

We spent some of Memorial Day Weekend at the Jersey shore--it was cut a little shore with Matty feeling very under the weather.  We did manage to get in a little bit of beach time to kick off the summer!
