Juliet loves to watch football with Daddy!  The game was really interesting...it was hard to get them both to look straight ahead!

Juliet is really a very happy and fun baby.  She's usually all smiles and giggles.  She just wasn't happy with mommy and the camera this time, though.  At least she looks adorable.

What's Up Doc?

Juliet has been absolutely loving her baby food.  These are picks from her very first taste of carrots!  Aside from rice cereal, this was the first food she tried.  She ate the whole container!  oooh...food coma!!

Milestone Alert: Who is this big boy??

Matty is growing and learning like crazy.  His latest milestone into big boy territory is...potty training!  So long, diapers!  Matty is doing a great job and has been wearing his big boy underpants (or "good boy" underpants as he refers to them) for a week now. 

To be honest, we still lose some of the battles, but overall, we are totally winning this war.  Mark a big V for Victory next to potty training!  Way to go Matty!  The unfortunate side effect of this milestone is that Mommy is afraid to leave the house--what if he needs to use the potty?? Eek!  Errands have an extra element of risk associated with them now :-)

Milestone Alert: On a Roll!

Juliet is puffing up like our very own Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man, but that doesn't stop her from slaying her milestones. She officially rolled over yesterday (9/13/2011) -- back to tummy! (She's a pro at rolling from her tummy to her back)  She did this one time before when she was a teeny thing, but it was disqualified as a mere accident.  Watch out for her now!  A rolling Juliet gathers no moss...or something like that!

We can't spend our summer days at the beach without having a photo shoot in the gazebo!  Here are Matty and Juliet smiling (or sometimes not) for the camera!

Matty's Dessert

Every night after dinner, Matty takes his vitamin and chooses dessert.  Sometimes it's pudding, jell-o, cookies, yogurt, or a fudgesicle. But lately, his dessert of choice is an ice cream sandwich...yum!
